Weakness in the grain markets moved the cattle market higher on Friday. “The cash cattle markets were slightly higher and if you look at the demand picture, it gave the live cattle a shot in the arm,” said Brian Strommen, market analyst, Progressive Ag Marketing. “The feeder cattle liked the pressure in the corn market on Friday.”
