Saint Thomas, North Dakota got a moderate amount of rain over the weekend. Farmer Allen Tucker says the rain was long overdue and most of his crops were planted ahead of the rains. “We got everything planted, but the navy beans. We have pinto beans, potatoes, sugarbeets and wheat planted. We’ll switch over to navy beans soon. We are pleased where we are at, right on schedule.” Tucker says the rains should even out parts of the field. “This should help even out the high ground not planted in adequate conditions. Rains can fix those spots nicely.”
