China was noticeably absent from the corn market Friday. “This was the first time in a week that China hasn’t bought,” said Don Roose, president, U.S. Commodities. “By the way, they bought 420 million bushels in ten days and that’s a huge amount of new crop corn. As they were buying, the market kept sinking.”
