Minnesota chartered nine new FFA Chapters in 2020. One of those new chapters is in Crookston, Minnesota. The newly chartered Crookston FFA will celebrate its one-year anniversary in September. FFA Advisor Whitney Ruprecht says the support of local families and agriculture businesses helped make this happen. “We are so honored with the amount of community support we’ve already received.” Thirty of the Crookston FFA Chapter’s more than 150 members qualified to compete at this year’s state convention. Last week, the Crookston FFA Chapter was also one of three chapters in the state receiving a superior rating and then, their charter was signed. Ruprecht has more goals for the program. “Now, we want to see student leadership take off.” Hear the story.
