Bills are making their way into conference as the North Dakota Legislature enters into the final days of the session. “If you use hockey as an example, I’d say we’re about halfway through the third period,” said Dan Wogsland, director, North Dakota Grain Growers Association. Compromises are being hammered out. “Anything can happen between now and the end of session.” The North Dakota Grain Growers Association is pleased the recently passed bonding bill, awaiting Governor Burgum’s signature, provides funding for the Ag Products Development Center. The project may get more money. On Wednesday, the House moved a higher education funding bill into conference. “This bill allows the authority to spend up to $85 million for the Ag Products Development Center, featuring public funds and private funds.”
