Martinson Ag Risk Management President Randy Martinson thinks soybeans are trying to keep pace with the corn market. “Even though we’ve had good export sales, I think the corn market is trying to hold acres and it looks like corn is trying to buy acres from everything.” Wheat and corn are now tied together as a feedstock. “With wheat and corn competing for the feed ration, that’s keeping those two tied together. The soybeans won’t be left out. Even with the increase in production estimates coming from South America there’s a tight soybean situation in the U.S.”
