It’s the second day of the South Dakota FFA Convention. The State President, Samantha Olson from Aberdeen, is enjoying convention so far. “This is a very important event for us. Our year has been different from any other and we’re going out with a bang.” The event is in a different location for the first time in 90 years, Rapid City, South Dakota instead of Brookings, but FFA members can gather together and maintain safe distance. “SDSU had students to keep safe as well.” Olson is giving her retiring address on Tuesday during the final session of convention. It’s about living limitless. “When opportunities come, you have to completely dive in and be in the moment.” Today, there’s an agriculture career carnival and the South Dakota Farmers Union Quiz Bowl.
