Farmers are starting to begin fieldwork near Reynolds, North Dakota. Valley United Co-op CEO Paul Coppin says spring fieldwork is five weeks ahead of last year. “We’re feeling really good right now. Farmers are spreading fertilizer and there’s wheat seed going out the door. We’re cautiously optimistic, despite the moisture concerns. We are hopeful as the spring progresses we can get an inch to an inch and a half of rain. Things are going well so far.”
