Four Minnesota farmers plan to run for a higher office with the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation this fall. During the virtual Council of County Presidents meeting, MFBF Vice President Dan Glessing of Waverly and board member Shayne Isane from Badger expressed interest in running for president. Board members Bob Roelofs from Garden City and Carolyn Olson from Cottonwood plan to run for vice president. More names could surface between now and November. Current MFBF President Kevin Paap is not seeking re-election. A president and vice-president will be elected at the organizations annual meeting on November 19.
