A lawsuit has been filed in federal court claiming crop input companies, wholesalers and retailers were involved in anti-competitive practices. Fourteen defendants are named in this litigation, including Bayer Crop Science, Corteva, Syngenta, BASF, Cargill, CHS, Simplot and more. The lawsuit alleges the crop input chain conspired to damage online platforms, like Farmers Business Network and AgVend. Company representatives say the lawsuit has no merit.
