The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has rejected the EPA’s request to allow the use of sulfoxaflor while it completes its Endangered Species Act review. The Center for Food Safety and the Center for Biological Diversity sued the EPA in 2019 for failing to conduct this review. Sulfoxaflor possible impact on pollinators was behind the original lawsuit.
