R-CALF USA has developed the organization’s first ever long-range plan. This comes as a response to 2020’s unprecedented anomalies in the cattle markets and the “unresponsiveness from policymakers and the beef industry to take corrective actions.” The plan includes strategies to promote profitability for family-owned farms, ensuring cattle producers are free to make their own production and marketing decisions.
