Crop protection companies are always looking for changes in the weed spectrum. Helena Agri-Enterprises research and development crop protection specialist Micheal Cox says it is important to anticipate weed problems. “Weeds are always changing and herbicide resistance is evolving everyday and you have to try to stay one step ahead of these problematic scenarios.” Helena is introducing a new pre-emergence soybean herbicide called Antares Complete. This product has three active ingredients, offering three different modes-of-action. “We can target weeds that may be resistant to one or two of those modes-of-action and we have a third that will pick those.”
