The EPA’s draft biological evaluation of glyphosate is part of the re-registration process all chemicals are going through. NDSU Extension week scientist Joe Ikley is watching the action closely. “It’s basically part of the re-registration process. The EPA is trying to make sure the product is safe to use.” Ikley says this will not impact the label for the next growing season, but future years could see an impact. “It could mean nothing ends up changing and it stays the same. The other thing that could happen is we could see potential buffer language in labels like we had with the current dicamba products.”
