Former North Dakota Senator Heidi Heitkamp will be co-chairing a new Farm and Forest Carbon Solutions Task Force with Saxby Chambliss, a former Senator from Georgia. The task force, created by the Bipartisan Policy Center, will identify effective climate change opportunities for ag and develop federal policy and program recommendations. Climate change is expected to be a priority for a Biden administration.
