McDonald’s is joining with Cargill, the Walmart Foundation and World Wildlife Fund to promote regenerative grazing practices in the Northern Great Plains. This new program is focusing primarily on South Dakota, Montana and Nebraska. By improving management on one million acres over five years, this coalition believes it can reduce emissions, improve soil health and influence climate change.
