The North Dakota Grain Growers Association is hosting a Mini E-Tour this week. The event is usually held in June, but NDGGA Executive Director Dan Wogsland said the COVID-19 pandemic changed plans. “Generally, we bring folks from Washington D.C. and Denver into North Dakota at the end of June to showcase our environmental stewardship. Because of COVID-19, we were unable to do that this year, but we were able to work with the EPA to come into North Dakota for a mini E-Tour.” The event kicks off today with an introduction to North Dakota agriculture and a roundtable discussion. There will also be some farm visits throughout the week, with the tour ending on Thursday. The E-Tour will stop by the Red River Farm Network’s Issues and Events Center at the Big Iron Farm Show on Wednesday, September 16.
