The sugarbeet crop is rebounding after a down year in 2019. USDA is forecasting sugarbeet production at 35.1 million tons. That’s up 23 percent from last year. Yield is forecast at 31.2 tons per acre, up two tons from last year. The harvested acreage for beets in Minnesota is up 84,000 acres from last year. North Dakota is up 41,000 acres.
