USDA is raising its tariff rate quota for raw sugar by nearly 91,000 metric tons. The government is also extending the current fiscal year through the end of October, providing time for more sugar imports. The quota was established at 1.1 million metric tons for the year. That TRQ was updated in April and raised by 317,000 tons.
