The U.S. consulate in Chengdu, China officially closed this morning. China ordered the closure after the U.S. shut down the Chinese consulate in Houston. The USDA Foreign Agricultural Service was also closed in Chengdu. The U.S. has five other agricultural trade offices in China, who plan to fill the void related to this closure.
