Winter wheat harvest was delayed a bit last week due to the rains in the Onida, South Dakota area. Oahe Grain’s Onida location manager Tim Luken says the crop that’s already cut looks great. “We’ve taken more than 750,000 bushels since harvest started. The average protein of the crop is at 11.8 percent and 61 pounds. It’s really good to have a crop we can say it looks pretty and not worry about scab.”
