McGillicuddy Corrigan Agronomics owner and agronomist Karen Corrigan says the corn and soybeans in Illinois vary. “It depends on where you’re at, because you can drive five miles and the crop situation is different. In June, my area of the state had less than one inch of rain and in the last week, we’ve had 7.5 inches. We went from one extreme to another. We have corn that’s waist tall and also corn that’s pollinating. The soybeans, in general, look pretty good.”
