Farmers can continue using Corteva Agriscience’s Enlist Duo herbicide. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has denied a petition to vacate the registration of the product. The EPA only needs to fix one oversight with the registration, the risk to monarch butterflies. The registration remains in place. Six environmental groups, including the Center for Food Safety and National Family Farm Coalition, filed the legal challenge in 2017. In response to the court ruling, the groups said they would be analyzing all legal options, including a full court rehearing. Corteva Agriscience is pleased with the decision and said they are confident in the sustainability and effectiveness in the product.
