Soybean aphids have been identified in research plots near Harwood, North Dakota. The NDSU Extension Crop & Pest Report says the infestation is very low, but it is time to start scouting fields. Soybean aphids are usually found feeding on the underside of the leaf and in the top tender leaves of vegetative soybeans. The report also cited armyworm damage in Richland County cereal grains.
