Ted Huisinga, 95, passed away Wednesday. The Willmar, Minnesota man was a leader in the turkey industry, receiving the lifetime achievement award at the state and national level. Huisinga was also awarded the Siehl Prize for Excellence in Agriculture. Huisinga joined Willmar Poultry in 1951 and enjoyed a 70-year career in the turkey industry.
