Andover, South Dakota farmer John Horter is making progress with fieldwork. “We are just taking things day by day.” The oats are planted and corn will be seeded next. “We decided we aren’t going to push as hard as we did last year to fight conditions,” said Horter. “We’re going forward with initial planting intentions and we’ll see how the weather does in the next few weeks.”
