AgCountry Farm Credit Services now has access to the Small Business Administration’s portal to administer the Paycheck Protection Program loans. “We have links to the applications on our website. We are encouraging farmers to download an application, fill it out and send it into their AgCountry loan officer,” says Howard Olson, senior vice president of government and public affairs, AgCountry Farm Credit Services. “Farmers should also include their 2019 tax forms that provide documentation to support the payroll or net income in the loan amount.” Olson says the funds are going quickly and farmers should apply soon. “They’re expecting by Friday the funds will be used up, so farmers need to get applications in as soon as they can.”
