Planters have begun to roll in southern Illinois. “We’ve got clients planting more soybeans more than corn,” says Jim Bower, president, Bower Trading. “There are planters rolling and they’re moving well.” Field conditions have been good, but it may be short lived. “We do have wetter, colder rain and temperatures in the forecast for next week. There’s been a pretty quick uptick in the last day.”
