According to NDSU Extension, North Dakota cropland rental values remained mostly unchanged in the past several years. Across the state, the average rent was $63.17 per acre in 2014 and $63.04 per acre in 2020. “Regional swings are much wider, but they still paint the same picture,” said Bryon Parman, ag finance specialist, NDSU Extension.
