General Mills has selected five counties in Kansas for a wheat-based regenerative agriculture program. Farmers will be paid incentives for increased soil carbon, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, improved water quality and water use efficiency. The Minnesota company has a similar initiative for oats in northern North Dakota and Canada.
