Now that the USDA Quarterly Stocks and Planting Intentions reports are released, Martinson Ag Risk Management president Randy Martinson says analysts are shifting their focus to U.S. planting conditions. “Our focus is shifting from South America to North America.” Martinson says there’s been some harvest taking place. “In the latest USDA crop progress report, 75 percent of North Dakota’s corn harvested at the end of March. We do know the last few weeks included a bit of activity.”
