A few different soybean sales to unknown destinations were noted this last week. The markets found support from the third day in a row of soybean sales to unknown. Cornbelt Marketing analyst Larry Clay says soybean meal is the driver. “Soybean meal is able to maintain at this time. If we can hold soybean meal together, this will help beans a little bit.” Clay says tighter soybean supplies give soybeans a potential story. “We came through a report that was basically a cookie cutter from the February report. It still says if we have a wiggle in weather, soybeans are probably more vulnerable to the upside. If there’s a hiccup, soybeans are going to reflect that first and foremost.”
