Beck’s Hybrids field agronomist Mike Blaine says on-farm research is vital to success of seed and farming practices. “It provides growers with a look at things that are out there. One of the key practices on the docket for this year is high speed planting,” says Blaine. “There are equipment manufacturers that make the equipment, but they don’t always have the grower’s best interest in mind during testing. Beck’s has the ability to take a step back and put it to the true test. We have 11 testing and research locations across the Corn Belt.”
