When former Ada, Minnesota FFA member Nathan Purrington looks back at his FFA experience, he remembers advisor Lowell Gunderson. “He was always passionate about his students.” Purrington taught agricultural education in Ada for a few years. Now, he teaches agricultural systems management at the University of Minnesota-Crookston, advising the Collegiate FFA. “Teaching in the college is a new challenge. It really helps develop young leaders.” Listen to the story.
