A Missouri peach farmer claims his orchard suffered damage due to off-target movement of the dicamba herbicide. The jury awarded $15 million in actual damages and $250 million in punitive damages. Bayer and BASF were both found to be liable for the damages. Bayer released a statement about the verdict, saying it is disappointed in the jury’s decision and will appeal. Bayer also said it stands behind the Xtend seed and XtendiMax herbicide products.
