The Minnesota Department of Agriculture has delivered its new report on emerging farmers to the Legislature. This category of emerging farmers includes women, veterans, people with less than ten years of experience and others. The Agriculture Department is recommending the creation of a task force and the delivery of expert guidance for emerging farmers.
