Hallock, Minnesota farmer Dan Younggren is the new president of the American Sugarbeet Growers Association. Younggren plans to use his time to set the foundation for the 2023 farm bill. “Of course, the biggest key to that is (House Agriculture Committee Chairman) Collin (Peterson) and we’re waiting for him to make his next move. Without his help, it will be a heavy lift, but the optimism in me is that we’ll get this done and we’re looking good going forward.”
