At the Cattle Industry Convention in San Antonio, the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association unveiled their top policy priorities for 2020. The focal points include trade and market access, fake meat, climate policy, fair cattle markets and regulatory reform. This list is focused on implementing and protecting policy gains while further advancing progress. For example, after securing bilateral trade deals with Japan, China and the European Union, as well as the ratification of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement, NCBA will turn to implementing those deals and expanding access in those markets.
