According to Statistics Canada, canola stocks at the end of 2019 were at 14.27 million metric tons. On farm canola stocks are down nearly six percent at 12.4 million tonnes while commercial stock jumped 28.5 percent to 1.9 million tonnes. All wheat stocks at the end of the year are reported at 24.98 million tonnes, down a half of one percent from last year, but 3.75 percent higher than the five-year average.
