The owner of a large peach farm in the Missouri Bootheel region is suing Bayer and BASF for $20 million. The farmer claims he lost 30,000 trees due to the use of dicamba in his area. Dicamba-tolerant seed was on the market before the EPA approved the use of herbicide. The lawsuit alleges that resulted in farmers spraying older dicamba formulations.
