Buhler Industries is reporting a net loss for the year at $29.5 million. That’s an improvement of $20 million from the previous year. Low commodity prices, trade uncertainties and a poor harvest season were seen as issues. The Winnipeg-based company is expecting a sales bump this year as it begins full production of its new mid-range front-wheel assist Versatile Nemesis series of tractors. In addition, Buhler expects to see increased sales due to its long-term partnership agreement with Kubota.
