Farm Credit organizations in western North Dakota awarded eight grants totaling more than $200,000 for programs to improve lives in local communities through the Rural Community Grant Fund. The fund is a partnership between Farm Credit Services of Mandan, Farm Credit Services of North Dakota and their St. Paul-based funding bank, AgriBank Farm Credit. The latest grants include $50,000 to Great Plains Food Bank towards a regional service and distribution center, $40,000 to Mohall Ambulance Service towards an ambulance replacement, and $8,000 to St. Luke’s Hospital for technology upgrades.
