The South Dakota Pork Congress is coming up in January. South Dakota Pork Producers Council Executive Director Glen Muller says there will be policy updates and an annual meeting. “We have Jim Wiesemeyer from Washington D.C. coming in to give his overview of the political processes and how that may impact us. We’ll also have a panel to discuss African swine fever.” There’s also a packed trade show planned. Muller says pre-registration is available for the event online. Registration is also available at the door. The event will be held January 15 and 16 at the Ramkota Exhibit Hall in Sioux Falls. Read more about the event.
