The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded its second contract for the Fargo – Moorhead diversion project. The nearly $60 million contract includes construction of a concrete control structure on the Wild Rice River that will regulate Wild Rice River flows into the Fargo – Moorhead area. The structure will be built seven miles south of Fargo – Moorhead near St. Benedict, North Dakota.
