American Farm Bureau Federation President Zippy Duvall joined Minnesota Farm Bureau members on Saturday to celebrate the organization’s centennial. Speaking with members, Duvall talked about keeping faith in the tough times and also updated on trade discussions. “The U.S. Mexico Canada Agreement is on the front burner and it’s something that must be done. I’ve been encouraging farmers to call Congress each day. The votes are there to get it.” Duvall also explained what it’s like to work with President Trump on agricultural issues. “President Trump called me when I was elected AFBF President. In that call, we talked about labor, trade and the farm bill. He hasn’t forgotten that conversation. I’m appreciative for the opportunity to work with him.”
