The Minnesota Supreme Court has denied all opposition petitions for the Line 3 replacement. Enbridge now has the ability to resume the permitting process. “It is the most studied pipeline in Minnesota history,” said Chris Tiedeman, Minnesota Agriculture and Energy Alliance. “We’re hoping next calendar year, they can replace this line.” Tiedeman emphasized Line 3 replacement is a safety issue. “It’s also better for the environment; the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission determined it is the best option for our environmental protection.”
