U.S. Custom Harvesters Inc., board member and Elk City, Oklahoma-based custom combiner David Misener is in the Rolla, North Dakota area wrapping up harvest. “This past week, we haven’t done any harvest because of the rains we’ve had. Fog has been a challenge, too.” Misener says wheat quality hasn’t been a big concern. “There aren’t many acres left to harvest. The wheat we harvested was just getting dry, about 15 percent. We weren’t really concerned about wheat quality.”
