The new North Dakota State University head football coach grew up on a farm in northeastern Iowa. During the NDSU Pioneer Tailgate Tour stop at Hunter last week, Matt Entz discussed crops with RRFN. “Just like here in North Dakota, Iowa had an unbelievably wet spring. As of late, the heat index has been from 100-to-105 and like grandpa used say that’s when you can hear the corn grow back in Iowa.” The final stop on the Tailgate Tour is tomorrow, July 30, at Select Ag in Mahnomen, Minnesota. Don’t forget, the home opener will be August 31 when the Bison host Butler University at Target Field in Minneapolis. The NDSU-Butler game is presented by Pioneer.
