The rainy weather didn’t stop nearly 800 pairs of cowboy boots from gathering for the 39th annual Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association Summer Tour. It was a jam-packed day visiting farms and agricultural businesses around Morris. While the main focus was cattle, participants also learned about the diversity of agriculture in the area, such as dry edible beans at Bonanza Bean. “A unique stop was at Moore Calves, where they bring BeefBuilder cattle from birth to finish,” said Brady Wulf with the West Central Cattlemen’s Association. “They have added beef to their dairy breeding program by incorporating the Limousin breed genetics.” Hear more in this interview.
