Scattered rains and heat push the risk of soybean diseases. BASF Technical Services Rep Ken Deibert says the ingredients for white mold in soybeans are present. “We are going to have to start thinking about white mold applications,” he says. “If we have moisture present, all it will take is relatively mild temperatures.” Deibert says moisture with night temperatures in the 60s is the ideal white mold environment. “That’s where we need to consider making Endura Fungicide applications for soybeans and dry beans at the late R1 or early R2 time frame.”
